We Three Kings!
Today I got to do a pretty cool thing. I didn't think it was cool while I was there doing it, of course. But after the fact, in retrospect and thoughtful reflection, it was pretty cool. So what did I do? I got to go to work with mommy and when I got there, I got to meet Mindy (my mommy's boss) and her son Owen, who just turned three, Rhonda (a writer on Mommy's team) and her son Sam.
Here's a picture of all six of us. L-R: Rhonda and Sam, Mindy and Owen and Mommy and me. Big surprise that around all of these people I was a big shy guy.
As you can see in the picture above, I am scowling. That continued, even when Josh tried to be nice to me.

So, I was pretty much a pouter all the time I was at work with mommy. Oh, I didn't say boo to anyone either (despite mommy's requests). BUT, once we left and got to the car? I was all talk, all the way to the grocery store. Even in the store! I just started saying, "HI!" to all these people I had never seen before. Mommy was flabbergasted. She said, "Honey, why didn't you talk like this to all the folks at my work?" I just looked at her and thought to myself, "Because you kept asking me to, that's why."
Always mixing it up,
Emerson
