Self Portrait
I know I am not as advanced as many of you that read this blog - okay, okay - all of you. You are all grown up and smart and can read and talk and all I can do is walk and run, pout and cry, giggle and blow raspberries and spout off new words every day. Oh, and I maintain this blog every few days, which is no small feat. I mean, if I didn't do it, who else would?
So, perhaps with all this, you might peg me as an ambitious sort. And if you did; you would be right. After playing the piano at my Tia Claudia's (tia is Spanish for aunt, and quite frankly, it's easier to say than aunt. No, I haven't actually said tia yet - back off), I decided to take on another branch of the arts - photography. I thought my first project should be a self portrait. Once I mastered photographing myself, I could advance to others.
Since I trust you, my gentle readers, I am going to post the first product of my own camera handling. I am super pleased with myself that I was able to do this, even though I wasn't able to put my entire self into the viewfinder prior to snapping the picture. We are talking details here, people, and I don't have time to worry about all of those. So, here you go. Tell me what you think. Do I have a potential career as a photog? Or should I let someone else push the button and just focus on being the ridiculously, ridiculously good looking toddler tyke that I am?
