Tom Turkey Comes Early
It appears there's a holiday coming up real soon! I keep hearing all of this talk about Thanksgiving and turkey and cooking and pumpkin pie. I guess it's a big deal and families and friends get together and talk about all they are thankful for. At school, we celebrated Thanksgiving early with a lunch for the kids and parents on Friday, Nov. 18. I got all dressed up for it too (see left). My mommy, daddy, and Grandma Kathy were all able to attend. The school put together a nice meal of turkey, stuffing, cranberry, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls and pumpkin pie. Despite this, I only ate the cranberry. Mommy, who was sitting next to me spilled her drink all over her lap (as she was trying to keep me from getting it). I then proceeded to cry for the rest of the lunch. I finally stopped when daddy was finished eating and I could sit on his lap. All in all, it wasn't too bad. I guess I am thankful for having such patient parents and grandparents.Well, I hope all of you have a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Hopefully on the actual holiday I will be willing to try out more food. We'll just have to see about that.
Cheers!
Emerson
