Have you ever?

...taken an undustrial-sized coffee filter, painted it all crazy like, wrapped some tape around it and wore it as a hat?

I didn't think so. But, I did.

And I really liked it.

A Bug's Life

A few weeks ago, my Gramma Kathy got me a bug collecting kit. It has a pail, a net and some giant plastic tweezers. As soon as I opened it, I was ready to be bug catcher. Here are the fruits of my labor. Oh, and this bug was not harmed in the capturing and was even set free before my nap.

Movin' On Up

A couple of Friday's ago, I got a new big boy bed. I already sleep on a twin mattress, but this was the actuall bed frame that lifts me up off the floor and positions me higher in the world - at least when I sleep.

I really like the bed and the cool book my Papa Jim and Gramma Lynn sent me (Submarine Sam, see it back there on my headboard?) I have read it every day since I got it. :)

A First!

Yesterday, I got to bake my very first cake! Really, it was me helping Gramma Kathy, but I played a really active role in the whol process. I got to pour and stir and conduct some taste tests too! It was really fun and also really yummy too!

My First Trip to the Dentist

Today was my first trip to the dentist. Mommy figured that because I have already had so many doctor's appointments in my short life, that I would do okay. But what Mommy didn't realize, is that nobody, even little tykes like me, don't ever really want to go to the dentist.

There were three things I had to do during this appoinment. Take pictures of my teeth, clean my teeth and then have the dentist see me. I cried at all points, but fortunately, Isabel (in the center column) made the picture taking fun and even let me press the picture button; Vanessa made the teeth cleaning part fun (she's with me in the first column); and Dr. Brooks made the overall visit fun by counting my teeth and using a cool light to look in my mouth. None of them made it fun enough for me to lay down in the chair for them do any part of their jobs, but they did let me stand up. I have to go back every six months, so my next time will be in January. Maybe next time I won't be so scared.
