A Part of History

My mommy used to be in this really cool women's group. They did all kinds of community service and social activities. I guess when I came along, work, me, and my mommy's book club was all she could really stay involved with.

It turns out that this group, Venture Club of Phoenix, partnered with some other organizations and built a playground in a part of town where kids don't have playgrounds. To raise money, they sold bricks that could be personalized that would outline a part of the playground. My mommy thought that this would be a cool thing to buy to a) support her club; b) bring happiness to some kids that need it and c) to enable me to be a part of history.

Well, one of mommy's friends and current club members just took pictures of the bricks because they were recently placed at the playground, and I thought I would share so you could see my brick. I won't point out which one it is, because all you smarty smartenheimers will find it quickly. I just know it. You are all just like that.

Pretty cool, huh?

I'm Officially a Little Snapper II

Today was my very first-ever swimming lesson. Mommy, Daddy and Gamma went with me and Daddy swam with me. At first, I was not so sure I was going to like this, but after about 15 minutes, I was having the time of my life! Coach Ed was really patient and told Daddy we would just take it easy. I was the only boy in the class and the girls are all a little more advanced than I am. That's okay though, I will catch up soon. I am so glad I can go swimming every Saturday!

Check out some of the highlights:
