Watch Out Harry Potter
If I can just figure out how to get these glasses on without the strap running under my lens, I will be giving you a run for your money.

Dapper Don
Today might have been the coldest day of our winter yet. Fortunately, I had the perfect duds to wear to battle the elements and remain utterly adorable. Go ahead and look; gushing is optional.

My New Favorite Game
I am becoming a real game player in my toddler days. If I keep this up, I may have to make this interesting and test my luck where the stakes are a bit higher. Mommy just smiles at me, nodding her head.
Here is my current favorite game. I am very proud of myself for making it up, with no real help from anyone else, thankyouverymuch!
1. Light/No Light - This is a funny game that involves me running toward or pointing to a light fixture and saying, "Light?" (meaning: can I turn on the light?) and mommy saying, "No light!" I then erupt into giggles. The importance in playing this game is significant repetition. So, let me act it out for you:
Me: Light?
Mommy: No light!
Me: Heeheeheeheehee!
Me: Light?

Mommy: No light!
Me: Heeheeheeheehee!
Me: Light?
Mommy: No light!
Me: Heeheeheeheehee!
Me: Light?
Mommy: No light!
Mommy: Heeheeheeheehee!
Me: Light?
Mommy: No light!
Me: Heeheeheeheehee!
Me: Light?
Mommy: No light!
Me: Heeheeheeheehee!
Me: Light?
Mommy: No light!
Me: Heeheeheeheehee!
Me: Light?
Mommy: No light!
Me: Heeheeheeheehee!
Isn't that the coolest ever?

A Darn Near Perfect Day!
1. Sleep in until 7.
2. Join mommy, my friend Sam, his mommy Rhonda and some of the mommies friends for the American Heart Walk. It was especially cool that I got to ride in the stroller while mommy pushed me for almost 3 miles.
3. Run around the finish area of the walk.
4. Nap.

5. Taste chocolate milk for the first time. YUMMY!
6. Get busted by mommy for taking her chocolate milk (which I am not supposed to have).
7. Fall and cut my thumb - that's why the day wasn't perfect. BUT! I didn't cry!
8. Dinner with mommy, daddy and my Tia Claudia and Uncle Scott. I LOVE chips and salsa!
9. Babysitting with 'Bama.

Getting a heart at the Heart Walk.
Uh, no it wasn't me and no that is not a choco milk mustache.
Knowing mommy still loves me even though I snuck a sip...awesome!

Baby Wowie Update - Possible TMI - Reader Beware
Good news #1 - I can say owie instead of wowie.
My drugs have been working and on Tuesday mommy took me back to the pediatrician. Then we learned that it appeared that one of my lymph nodes (in that delicate area was swollen) likely due to a staff infection. On a gross and fascinating side note. I have had this bite on my outer thigh for like a week and on Saturday it had all this yucky stuff that came out after my bath. Dr. thinks that was the conduit (yeah, I said it!) to my lymph node.
So, long story short, pediatrician said we would wait two more days and see if the drugs were addressing the node. If no, I would be referred to a pediatric surgeon to get it drained. That, no matter how you slice it (hardy-har-har) did not sound fun. If it appeared to be getting better, then we would let the antibiotics run their course and do a follow up the week of 3/13.
Good news #2 - Daddy took me back to the pediatrician and I am doing lots better. We are going the area seems to be getting smaller and he wants us to continue the meds and come back in 10 days.
PHEW! Keep your fingers crossed please.
Good news #3 - Today at school we celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday and we all got to go to school in our PJs! We also got to bring a favorite book (I took Goodnight Moon) and we were able to donate books if we wanted to. I told mommy that I wanted to donate a set of books just like the ones that Tia Claudia and Uncle Scott got me for my birthday. Those books are 5 Silly Monkeys, 5 Little Lady Bugs and 5 Wishing Stars. Mommy took me to Target and we got that exact same set and donated them to my school library. It made me feel really good to share something I like so much with other kids!
That's all for now. Saturday, Mommy, me, Rhonda and Sam, and mommy and Rhonda's friend Sarah are doing the American Heart Walk. You will be able to find pictures and a recap here!
Bye!
