Oh, the Things I Can Do!

This is probably no big deal to all of you because you have been doing these things forever. But, I just learned how to do them. So that means it's a milestone and should be documented. These are pretty random things, but I guess I start mastering all kinds of things at all kinds of times now. Because I take everything in just like a sponge (even though I don't know what a sponge is).

Okay, here's the low-down:
  • If someone says, "Take this and put it in the trash." I take it from them, walk into the kitchen and put it in the trash. Mommy is trying to get me to take the trash out, but I am certain I am not ready for that.
  • Even though I cannot use a toilet, I can flush one. Mommy has even taught me to put the seat cover down before I flush it and I am not to lift it again. She says this will be a trait that will serve me well when I am older; whatever that means.
  • I can say and hum 'uh-oh'. I actually only said it once, but mommy swears she heard me. Since then I just go hmmm-hmmm and it sounds like uh-oh, only hummed. Am I making any sense?
  • I had a whole conversation with myself and a pile of clean laundry yesterday in my secret baby language. The clothes really have a lot of stories and I liked talking to all of them. You can call me the Laundry Whisperer.
  • Today I had my first cheese quesadilla. It was super chewy but I did pretty good with it.
  • I am officially a professional waver. Every night on my way to bedtime, I wave bye-bye to all the animals and each of the rooms I pass through as I leave them. I am even starting to wave to strangers who walk by me or are walking away from me. It's because I am super friendly.

Okay, those are all the new things I can think of that I can do now.

One more day before I have to go under the knife...

Picture me waving bye-bye,

Emerson
